Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on turning ideas into action? We're looking for a proactive and driven Team Lead to guide our Research & Development (R&D) team within the Product Line Traction Motors. In this role, you won’t just manage — you’ll make things happen.
You’ll be at the heart of our global R&D efforts, coaching and developing a talented team to meet ambitious targets. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating R&D activities to ensure they align with business needs, while actively contributing to technology development, platform strategy, and Intellectual Property management.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Line Management globally, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams across Sweden and China. Reporting directly to the Global Head of R&D for the Traction Division, you’ll be a key player in shaping the future of our traction motor products.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Hiring, professional development, and leading a team of 12 R&D engineers in Sweden
Coordinating plans for capacity, people, and resources for R&D projects in Sweden and China
Overseeing efficient, timely and quality execution over the projects
Developing and acquiring competencies, tools, and infrastructure that will be needed for the development of products.
Serving as a technical resource for the team and providing technical support for internal and external contacts.
Supervising and ensuring a safe work environment

Qualifications for the Role
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Extensive experience in development of electrical machines, preferably for railway or off-road vehicle applications
A demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills for projects, people, and stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment
A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a relevant technical field.
Sound knowledge of design engineering, simulation, CAD, PLM and ERP tools related to electrical machines
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies and methods
Proficiency in English, written and spoken

We find it valuable if you have:
Knowledge of industry standards and development processes relevant to railway and e-mobility applications
Previous experience in line management or portfolio responsibility, including managing large projects
Hands-on experience with permanent magnet motors

How you’ll make an impact
You will be overall technical responsibility for the integration of Statcom plant design.
Translate market and engineering needs into Product Requirement Specifications into Base Solution and drive the roadmap in coordination with the Global Product Manager and Global Product Specialist.
Managing the lifecycle of the Base Solution, configuration and tools and Support and integrate new technical solutions in close cooperation with R&D.
Maintain and ensure documentation hands on—including technical descriptions, user guide lines etc.—is current, accessible, and complete.
Monitor and coordinate feedback-driven improvements within the own discipline but also across teams.
Align and cooperate cross functional within and outside Engineering
Provide guidance in tenders/projects and ensure knowledge transfer across global Electro-Mechanical team.

Your Background
Hold an M.Sc. in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar experience gained in other business.
8+ years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, plant design within Power Systems modularization of engineering products, standardization, within Facts or similar business
Good technical knowledge and experience within FACTS in most of the technical aspects and understanding impact on other engineering disciplines.
Calculation and design tools (SolidWorks , Inventor, REVIT), PLM system (Siemens team center or similar).
Strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
The ability to take a holistic view
Experience working with diverse and cross-functional teams.
Proven experience in product management is highly desirable.
Strategic and operational mindset with a focus on business productivity and efficiency.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be at the heart of our growth strategy-crafting powerful campaigns, creating engaging content, and delivering experiences that inspire action. This is your opportunity to combine creativity with strategy, turning ideas into measurable results that strengthen our market presence and elevate our brand.

Design and implement integrated marketing and communication campaigns tailored to local customer needs, market dynamics, and stakeholder expectations. Ensure alignment with global/regional strategies while driving measurable impact at the country level.
*

Collaborate closely with sales and global marcom to activate product launches, deliver promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
*

Create and distribute high-quality content that appeals to our target audiences. This includes developing content for press releases, articles, customer stories, etc.
*

Manage and optimize local digital channels and social media platforms to ensure consistent brand presence and audience engagement. Plan, coordinate, and execute customer-facing events and industry fairs.
*

Create and deliver thought leadership communications to position the local leaders and experts according to the communications strategy.
*

Deliver internal communications that build engagement and support company culture.
*

Act as the main contact for external agencies, partners, and suppliers in the country.



Qualifications for the role

*

Solid understanding of B2B/industrial marketing and communications.
*

Hands-on experience in campaign management, events, content creation, and digital channels.
*

Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and deliver under tight timelines.
*

Excellent communication, editing, and presentation skills in local language and English.
*

Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to adapt technical information into compelling local messaging.
*

Team player, able to collaborate across functions and with regional/global colleagues.
*

Proactive, self-driven, and resourceful - comfortable working without direct reports.
