Your role and responsibilities
As the Process Automation Regional Category Specialist (Sweden), you are responsible for developing the executing a pipeline of high value strategic initiatives in the country. Based on your deep subject matter expertise in the area of procurement, you are proactively identifying opportunities to deliver the overall Category performance, savings targets, and manage the local tools. The job role requires actively engaging and partnering with senior Business stakeholders, Operations and Business Procurement/Finance.
Thanks to your strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, you ensure stakeholder alignment and support to deliver exceptional value through the implementation of Category Strategies and initiatives. You further establish effective working relationships with local and regional procurement to ensure alignment and the full realization of the benefits of the Category Strategy.


Main Accountabilities
The objective of this position is to leverage the purchasing power of ABB on a global and regional level and to achieve the set performance targets for the country:
Accountable for the creation and application of a Business-aligned long-term Strategy for Sweden in collaboration with the EMEA Category Managers and the development of an annual pipeline of strategic category initiatives.
Working in close collaboration with the sites on the continuous improvement of our Integrated Supply Chain Solutions program and the related RACI/business process to translate them into clear, practical guidance for key Procurement and functional colleagues in the EL sites.
Understanding business priorities and challenges and ensuring successful realization of the Country Strategy by building strong partnerships across all stakeholders. Also being able to act with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ensuring a robust approach to supplier management, establishing value creation targets and reporting of supplier performance, developing innovation programs, managing supplier risks and conducting regular business reviews.
Proactively driving/supporting demand management to reduce our overall external spend with third parties and create a true EBITDA impact – e.g. the implementation of vending machines or implementation of modern tool crib design.
Support the roll out of catalogues and to ensure a high level of hands-free ordering and a reduction of tactical sourcing to the minimum in the countries using SAP Ariba or alternative ERP solutions.
Ensuring full control on supplier and material master data to allow for sourcing automation and running RfQs/eAuctions in SAP Ariba.
Ensuring full control on all the local tools.



Qualifications for the role
University degree, with business or engineering degree preferable.
5+ years of in-depth strategic and/or operational procurement experience or equivalent extensive experience working in the category for which the role is intended to support.
Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global, fluid, interactive environment.
Proven financial and business acumen and capability in negotiation, change management and stakeholder management.
Business level fluency in English and Swedish.
Strong result-orientation.

How you´ll make an impact
Support strategic sourcing activities, in close alignment with the category manager; drive RFQs, RFPs for project execution.
Issue proper quotation comparison / equalization map to support purchasing decision; update costs for project execution, against budget targets.
Initiate Purchase Order (PO) and, when needed, support collecting Order Acknowledgments from suppliers.
Control appropriate time response from suppliers and meet internal demands and schedules.
Care for the good and transparent relationship with suppliers and ensure that our suppliers comply with the laws, regulations, standards, certificates, and directives that Hitachi Energy requires from them.
Support category related actions on supplier qualification and audits process, as well as re-cover of supplier caused claim values, matching claims with reported non-conformities related to Supplier Quality.
Foster collaboration as ONE Hitachi Energy team. Work together with global SCM team of category managers, transactional buyers, logistic planners, and supplier quality engineers and to ensure that the goods and material are procured, produced, and delivered on budget, on time and with quality to our project sites worldwide.

Your background
This is NOT an entry-level position. Required more than 5 years' experience in similar positions.

Professional experience in a supply chain functions, category management, strategic sourcing, project management or procurement, is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to handle several tasks in parallel.
Described as energetic, motivated, and self-confident person who can handle both ups and downs and manage problem that may occur.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in HVDC projects will be an added advantage.

As a Category Specialist – Contracted Services within HVDC, the mission is to drive the implementation of the Supply Chain Management strategy for design? and construction?related services across both tenders and projects.
The role focuses on securing competitive cost levels, strong quality performance, and solid HSE standards to support the successful delivery of HVDC projects.
It also includes responsibility for ensuring full process compliance in accordance with company requirements and established SCM and Supply Base Management procedures, contributing to a reliable and well?governed supply chain.
How you’ll make an impact
Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with business requirements and company policies, ensuring subcontractor selection based on quality, HSE, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Lead negotiations with subcontractors to secure favorable terms that meet project and business needs.

We are looking for a Business Process Manager to support the analysis, management, and continuous improvement of global end-to-end business processes within the Robotics organization. In this role, you will work closely with Business Process Owners, IS teams, and other stakeholders to increase transparency, efficiency, and integration across processes and supporting applications.
You will help design and optimize processes, bridge business and IT perspectives, and support the adoption of innovative tools, including AI-based solutions, to enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Business Process Owners to analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes in alignment with key stakeholders.
Support the documentation and visualization of complex processes, including related tools and applications, to improve transparency and understanding.
Define and support the implementation of process and application strategies together with Business Process Owners and IS teams.
Act as a bridge between business functions and IS, facilitating the implementation of process-related digital solutions.

This Position reports to: Head of Business Transformation.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and driven PMO Lead - Project Coordinator to run the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Robotics Operating System (RO?OS). In this role, you will ensure that RO?OS program activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with strategic OS priorities.
You will build the PMO structure from the ground up—establishing governance, standards, reporting practices, and performance metrics. You will support cross?functional teams with coordination and administrative tasks, consolidate program insights for leadership, and provide executive?level visibility to enable informed decision?making. As a central point of alignment, you will foster collaboration, guide teams, and help shape a high?performing operational environment.
Responsibilities
Run the daily operations of the RO?OS Program Management Office in line with established priorities, governance, and standards.
Support program and project teams with administrative tasks including progress reporting, milestone tracking, and status updates.
Collect, validate, and consolidate program data for dashboards, reports, and leadership reviews.
Ensure that teams follow agreed processes, templates, and reporting cadences.
Coordinate cross?functional inputs to manage dependencies, risks, and issues across initiatives.
Provide visibility into delivery status, key risks, and resource needs to support informed decision?making.
Project support portfolio planning, prioritization, and scheduling of program activities.
Maintain PMO tools, documentation, repositories, and SharePoint access to ensure accurate and up?to?date information.

Qualifications
Experience managing projects and programs, either in industry or consulting.
Strong program management capabilities, including planning, governance, scope management, and reporting.
Excellent stakeholder?management skills, with the ability to align diverse contributors across functions.
Experience in organizational change and transformation, ideally in complex, global environments.
Structured and collaborative working style, able to bring clarity and order to evolving program structures.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise updates for both operational teams and executive leaders.
High level of drive, ownership, and self?motivation, comfortable building processes from scratch and guiding teams through ambiguity.

Your role and responsibilities
You design, develop, and implement analog and digital circuits from concept phase to serial production.
Your tasks include creation of schematics and definition of constraints for PCB layout, definition of verification specifications and execution of verification activities of your designs by simulation and prototype testing, as well as documentation and handover of the developed technologies with subsequent implementation support to production engineering.
You collaborate closely with product owner, product management, system architects and software developers to breakdown market requirements to product requirements for hardware.
You monitor technology developments and product technologies to identify technical drivers for R&D projects, supported by your thorough understanding of key business drivers for ABB’s products and solutions.
You participate in internal and external networks to expand your knowledge of your area of expertise.
You take responsibility for hardware development activities, as (senior) member, including risk identification, alignment with targets, and close coordination with suppliers and other functions (e.g. product management).
You contribute to discussions of intellectual property and secure patent rights for ABB by driving the IP creation.

Qualifications for the role
M.Sc. or B.Sc degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems or comparable field
At least 5 years of experience in development of electronics within embedded systems as a hardware design engineer in an industrial context
Sound knowledge in designing electronic circuits, circuit diagrams, and working with simulation tools
Experience in testing and validation of prototypes in a laboratory. Proven experience in working with voltage levels up to ~1kV would be considered a plus
Knowledge in EMC compatible design would be considered a plus
Willingness to travel internationally (<5%)
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Swedish language skills are beneficial but not a prerequisite.
