As Engineering Manager Electrification and Automation, you will lead the Mining and Materials operations team in Sweden. You will manage and develop a team of engineers, oversee delivery of mine hoist projects, and set strategic directions for automation and electrification. We are seeking a strong leader with proven management skills and the vision to drive innovation and transformation.

Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, combined with strong leadership credentials.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing engineering teams within industrial or mining environments.
Proven track record of leading complex, project-driven organizations and delivering results through others.
Solid knowledge of safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards, with the ability to embed them into team practices.
Demonstrated success in managing budgets, optimizing resources, and achieving performance targets.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in customer and partner engagement.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks, applied at organizational level.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and build a culture of innovation and accountability.
Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, with strong interpersonal and leadership presence.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Process Automation Regional Category Specialist (Sweden), you are responsible for developing the executing a pipeline of high value strategic initiatives in the country. Main Accountabilities

Accountable for the creation and application of a Business-aligned long-term Strategy for Sweden in collaboration with the EMEA Category Managers and the development of an annual pipeline of strategic category initiatives.
Working in close collaboration with the sites on the continuous improvement of our Integrated Supply Chain Solutions program and the related RACI/business process to translate them into clear, practical guidance for key Procurement and functional colleagues in the EL sites.

Support the roll out of catalogues and to ensure a high level of hands-free ordering and a reduction of tactical sourcing to the minimum in the countries using SAP Ariba or alternative ERP solutions.
Ensuring full control on supplier and material master data to allow for sourcing automation and running RfQs/eAuctions in SAP Ariba.

Qualifications for the role
University degree, with business or engineering degree preferable.
5+ years of in-depth strategic and/or operational procurement experience or equivalent extensive experience working in the category for which the role is intended to support.
Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global, fluid, interactive environment.

Your responsibilities
Develop next-generation software solutions for ABB’s measurement products and systems.
Contribute to the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture to implementation, testing and verification.

Develop software for systems based on real-time operating systems used in industrial applications.

Your background
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in software development for industrial or embedded applications.
Strong skills in C/C++ and/or Java familiarity with Azure DevOps and Visual Studio is a plus.
Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g., Windows Embedded Compact, VxWorks) is advantageous.
Comfortable working across all stages of the development process, including testing, debugging, documentation and code review.
Structured, service-minded and solution-oriented, with strong personal initiative and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Open to new ideas, eager to learn and enthusiastic about analyzing, improving and collaborating within a team.
Fluent in both Swedish and English.

Your role and responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you a seasoned project manager with a passion for driving industrial investment projects from concept to completion? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our MOHP Operations team in Västerås. In this role, you’ll lead strategically important investment projects that support our continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term competitiveness.
You’ll take full ownership of project execution – from planning and procurement to supplier management and final handover – while ensuring compliance with internal standards, timelines, and budget. Your leadership will be key in driving results, sharing best practices, and lifting the project execution capability within the organization.
To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience from industrial project management, including machinery investments and infrastructure-related installations (e.g. electricity, ventilation, construction). You enjoy working close to operations, and you're confident in navigating both technical and commercial aspects of large-scale projects.

A strong passion for and deep engagement in investment and industrialization projects, particularly within high-precision manufacturing environments.
At least 5 years of solid experience in project management and industrial investments – ideally including advanced machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding.
Extensive knowledge of project planning (e.g. MS Project, WBS Scheduler), cost follow-up and budgeting (e.g. SAP), as well as RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
Driver’s license.

At ABB Machines in Västerås, we design and manufacture world-class high-efficiency motors and generators delivered to customers around the globe. We are now looking for a Control Panel Tester to join our production team and play a key role in ensuring that every control panel to our machine meets our customers’ expectations.
As a Control Panel Tester you will be part of a close-knit team responsible for the final testing and verification of our customized control panel to our electrical machines before delivery. You will work in a technically challenging and varied environment, performing testing, measurements, and verifying PLC and protection relay program. You will also have the opportunity to meet and collaborate directly with customers from all over the world who visit our facilities to witness final acceptance tests (FAT).


Your key responsibilities will include:
Perform final testing of control panels, including electrical setup, measurement, and verifying PLC and protection relay program
Troubleshoot and identify electrical and program issues in control panels.
Collaborate with designers, production staff, and meeting customers during the testing process.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives within the testing department.



Qualifications for the role
Experience in testing or commissioning of electrical equipment, involving control panels or test systems, supported by education in electrical power engineering, automation, or control technology.
Solid understanding of PLC programming, electrical schematics, and control systems, as well as motor control principles such as start/stop, variable speed drives, and protection systems.
Practical hands-on skills in wiring, adjustment, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels, together with proficiency in electrical measurement techniques (multimeter, insulation tester; experience with FREJA/Sverker or other signal generator systems is an advantage).
A structured and safety-conscious approach to work, with the ability to document test results, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively with both colleagues and customers
Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written; good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Willingness to work a 2-shift schedule, with occasional night shifts during peak production periods.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Partner with Local Division Managers to drive strategy and execution, ensuring compliance, integrity, and accurate financial forecasting for the ELDS and ELSE divisions in Sweden. Lead by example to foster collaboration, uphold ABB values, and create a safe working environment while enabling profitable growth. As part of the Electrification business, you will take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) and financial controlling for the ELDS (Distribution Solutions) and ELSE (Electrification Service) divisions in Sweden.
Partner directly with the Local Division Managers to drive strategy and execution to deliver on profitable growth targets.
Direct responsibility for the accuracy of all financial books, records and reports for the ELDS and ELSE Divisions in Sweden. Drive compliance and integrity throughout the Country in support of the LDMs.
Support the APP process for the Divisions and take direct ownership for developing and executing the financial forecasting process for ELDS and ELSE, ensuring accurate and timely forecasts.
Support the ELDS Project team in coordinating and preparing project reviews, cost reports, claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases. Identify risks and opportunities and ensure adherence to ABB’s corporate governance, assurance, internal controls, and business-specific finance directives.
Support ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) improvement processes, integrity performance and Group standards.
Lead by example to drive the right behaviors, personally living the ABB values of Courage, Care, Curiosity, Collaboration.
Promote and enable collaboration across the Divisions to maximize results.

Qualifications for the Role
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting is required with minimum 8 years of experience or alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results; in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting
Strong costing knowledge and understanding of project and service accounting and revenue recognition
Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and expertise in APP reporting tools

Som robotutbildare planerar och genomför du undervisning i ABB:s robotsystem för både våra interna och externa kunder. Det är allt ifrån handhavandeutbildningar till fördjupningskurser för kunder med stor roboterfarenhet inom såväl el- & mekanikservice.
Robotics Training Center är en viktig del i vårt event och kunskapscenter Experience Center på Finnslätten i Västerås.

Dina ansvarsområden:
Förbereda utbildningsmaterial och utrustning
Leverera utbildningar i enlighet med vårt globala utbildningsmaterial för våra befintliga robotsystem, inom såväl el och mekanik. Kurser både på Robotics Training Center i Västerås och ute på plats hos kund i Sverige.
Säkerställa att samtliga deltagare får ut mesta möjliga kunskap av kursen
Promota Experience Center i det dagliga arbetet och även vid event.
Samarbeta med övriga delar av vårt Training Center.

Din bakgrund
Gymnasieutbildning i grunden, tillsammans med en eftergymnasial utbildning inom el eller mekanik, alternativt jämförbar erfarenhet inom området.
Du kan läsa och förstå krets- och kopplingsscheman.
Tidigare robotvana och viss programmeringskunskap är meriterande.
God vana att möta kunder vilket utgör en stor och betydande del av ditt dagliga arbete.
Social förmåga som lätt knyter kontakter och gillar att umgås med nya människor.
Du har en god pedagogisk förmåga att motivera, inspirera, coacha och utveckla dina elever.
Du är nyfiken och trivs bra i föränderliga miljöer, samt har en stark förmåga att planera och organisera.
Du har lätt att se nya möjligheter och lösningar.
Du behärskar svenska och engelska väl, både i tal och i skrift.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Are you a hands-on leader who thrives on turning ideas into action? We're looking for a proactive and driven Team Lead to guide our Research & Development (R&D) team within the Product Line Traction Motors. In this role, you won’t just manage — you’ll make things happen.
You’ll be at the heart of our global R&D efforts, coaching and developing a talented team to meet ambitious targets. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating R&D activities to ensure they align with business needs, while actively contributing to technology development, platform strategy, and Intellectual Property management.
You’ll collaborate closely with Product Line Management globally, Product Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams across Sweden and China. Reporting directly to the Global Head of R&D for the Traction Division, you’ll be a key player in shaping the future of our traction motor products.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Hiring, professional development, and leading a team of 12 R&D engineers in Sweden
Coordinating plans for capacity, people, and resources for R&D projects in Sweden and China
Overseeing efficient, timely and quality execution over the projects
Developing and acquiring competencies, tools, and infrastructure that will be needed for the development of products.
Serving as a technical resource for the team and providing technical support for internal and external contacts.
Supervising and ensuring a safe work environment

Qualifications for the Role
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Extensive experience in development of electrical machines, preferably for railway or off-road vehicle applications
A demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills for projects, people, and stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment
A degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a relevant technical field.
Sound knowledge of design engineering, simulation, CAD, PLM and ERP tools related to electrical machines
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies and methods
Proficiency in English, written and spoken

We find it valuable if you have:
Knowledge of industry standards and development processes relevant to railway and e-mobility applications
Previous experience in line management or portfolio responsibility, including managing large projects
Hands-on experience with permanent magnet motors

This Position reports to: Business Manager - Commercial and Portfolio.
Your role and responsibilities
Are you ready to lead impactful projects that contribute to a more sustainable future? Our Synchronous Condensers business plays a vital role in the global energy transformation, ensuring more sustainable electricity production worldwide.
As a Project Manager you will take full ownership of projects from the moment of handover from sales through to delivery and commissioning. Your focus will be on meeting and exceeding customer expectations by delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to agreed specifications.
You will ensure that all project targets are achieved while providing excellent service throughout every stage of the customer journey. Your responsibilities will include managing the development and ongoing updates of project documents, overseeing compliance with contractual requirements from project initiation to operation, and ensuring best practices in cost control, resource efficiency, and risk management.
You will also be responsible for analyzing and addressing project risks while sharing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with internal teams, you will coordinate contract negotiations and claims while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful projects, directly contributing to the energy transformation and the delivery of sustainable solutions globally.
Qualifications for the role
Experience in project management related to system deliveries or similar fields.
Good cooperation skills and an interest in building relationships.
You work systematically, independently, responsibly, and can adapt flexibly to changing circumstances.
You have a customer-focused attitude and approach tasks with this in mind.
You communicate effectively in English, and knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
You have an understanding of electrical grids, power systems, and substations, which is considered a merit.
A Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
