Your role and responsibilities
Join ABB Force Measurement, a global leader delivering advanced solutions to the metals and paper industries. As part of our Tools Team within the Project Management Office, you will play a key role in driving digitalization and automation initiatives that support our engineering and business processes.

In this role, you will:
Lead and deliver digital tools and automation projects, from concept to implementation.

Your background
We're looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys improving processes and driving change through technology.
You will ideally bring:
A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience in project management and/or digitalization, automation, or engineering system initiatives.
Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM/PDM) tools; knowledge of Siemens NX is an advantage.
An interest in manufacturing, industrial processes, or engineering environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
Fluency in English; Swedish is beneficial but not required.

To drive sustained technology leadership and innovation, we are appointing a Global R&D Lead for Traction Motors.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of traction motor technology. You will define and drive the R&D strategy and roadmap for Traction Motors, translating cutting-edge innovation into real business value for our customers and markets. You will lead the R&D teams in Sweden and China, to drive high performance and meet ambitious targets.

Qualifications for the Role

Extensive hands-on experience in the development of electrical machines, preferably for railway or off-highway vehicle applications, including permanent magnet motors

ABB Robotics is looking for an experienced Program Manager to drive Product Material Compliance across our expanding global business. The Material Compliance Program Manager ensures that products, materials, and components meet global regulatory, legal, and customer requirements related to chemical substances and materials. The role supports product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and lifecycle management by managing substance data, assessing regulatory risks, and enabling market access.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure regulatory compliance with global material compliance legislation, such as REACH, RoHS, SVHC, PFAS restrictions, EU Batteries, CA Proposition 65, US TSCA, China RoHS, and others.
Coordinate cross functional teams to develop and implement the material compliance strategy and processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Drive continuous process improvements to enhance compliance and reduce risks.
Monitor regulatory developments, assess business impacts, and translate requirements into internal policies and actions.
Manage material and substance data, supplier declarations, compliance assessments, and risk evaluations.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Legal, Sustainability) to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Support supplier qualification, new product development, customer inquiries, audits, and regulatory inspections.
Prepare compliance statements, maintain audit-ready documentation, and contribute to sustainability reporting.

Keep management informed of regulatory changes, risks, and program progress.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, Environmental Science or related technical field.
Experience: 6–10+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or supply chain, particularly within industrial products or electronics.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of global material compliance regulations such as REACH, RoHS, CA Prop 65 and TSCA.
Project Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, implement compliance programs, and manage stakeholder relationships.

Key Skills & Competences
Regulatory Interpretation: Ability to read, interpret, and convert complex, evolving environmental regulations into practical, actionable, company-wide procedures.
Supply Chain Due Diligence: Experience with supplier engagement, collecting compliance data (such as Full Material Disclosures), and ensuring vendor compliance.

Qualifications for the role
You have advanced skills in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies (TPM, RCM, root-cause analysis) and lean tools such as SMED, within precision sensor and electronics manufacturing.
You have 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance of production and test equipment, including work in a senior or specialist maintenance capacity.
You possess an enhanced knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) — preferably MaintMaster — and the MS Office suite.
You are passionate about proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement, and you bring strong communication skills and the willingness to share technical expertise with the team.
You have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical education combined with extensive relevant work experience.
You are at ease communicating in Swedish and English.

Experience working in ATEX-classified environments

We are now looking for a new R&D Principal Engineer, Electrical to join our R&D Hub Europe team, ABB IEC LV Motors. In this role, you will be responsible for executing electrical design activities for Low Voltage Electrical Motors.
As an expert, you will take proactive ownership of the tasks given to you and your team and communicate the results. This will include actively collaborating with stakeholders such as project managers, project team members, global R&D teams and other internal partners.

You will mainly be responsible for:
Working in global product development and technology projects, from the concept stage through to finished products
Maintaining and keeping the products up to date during the product lifecycle
Technical documentation, design and testing according to project requirements
Ensuring cost effective design in accordance with project specifications, related standards, and safety regulations
Collaborating actively with Project Managers, Project Team Members, Global R&D Teams, other functions, and stake holders in the organization
You are expected to take ownership of tasks given to you and your team and communicate the results
Acting as a mentor by training junior team members and compiling project lessons learned

Qualifications for the Role
B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in Electrical Engineering
Solid previous experience in electrical motor design
Several years of experience in electrical design tools
Experience of PTC Windchill PLM/PDM are considered as a benefit
Interest towards working with product development and technology projects
Self-driven and proactive way of working with good teamwork and communication skills
Analytical and logical mindset
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish/Finnish skills are seen as an advantage

Som QC Engineer El/Automation blir du en nyckelperson i våra industriprojekt och säkerställer att alla el- och automationsleveranser håller högsta kvalitet. Följa upp leverantörskvalitet och delta i FAT samt säkerställa att produkter följer ITP:er och standarder.
Utföra inspektioner och verifieringar av el- och automationsinstallationer, funktionstester och loop-checks.
Hantera avvikelser genom NCR-uppföljning, rotorsaksanalyser och kontroll av korrigerande åtgärder.
Sammanställa kvalitetsdokumentation inför slutbesiktning och överlämning till kund.
Rapportera kvalitetsstatus i projektmöten och stödja projektledare med kundunderlag.
Bidra till förbättringsarbete genom att identifiera trender och föreslå processförbättringar. Dessutom kommer du att vara delaktig i att vidareutveckla QC-funktionen hos oss.

Din bakgrund
Vi söker dig som har en stark teknisk grund och ett genuint kvalitetsfokus. För att lyckas i rollen tror vi att du har:
Civil- eller högskoleingenjörsutbildning inom elektroteknik, automation eller motsvarande.
Minst 5 års erfarenhet av el/automation i industriprojekt.
Erfarenhet av kvalitetssäkring, inspektioner eller kommissionering.
God förståelse för el- och automationssystem såsom PLC, SCADA, instrumentering, ställverk och VSD.
Kunskap om relevanta standarder (IEC, SS?EN, ATEX, SIL).

Your responsibilities
In this role you will work with a wide range of services, supporting the Motors & Generators Business Line Unit, Sweden.
Handle visa applications, certificates, other travel related administrative requirements and act as travel process expert.
Initiate internal travel notification and ensure that Global Travel Management system is updated with all relevant travel information not imported automatically.
Monitor that requirements training is updated, support with booking and planning of training programs.
Provide administrative support related to internal and external training activities.
Work with on boarding for new employees and help ensure a smooth and structured introduction to the organization
Internal communication within Motion Sweden where you support the managers with communication, booth in writing material and o communicate it, most often internally.
Plan, coordinate and arrange other logistics for lager meetings and company events.

You are located in Motion Finnslätten in our renovated office and we need you in place in office. You are critical for us when issues like VISA-documents needs to be done in short notice or similar situations. Here you also have your colleague’s booth in the group as well with your assistant colleagues.
Your Background
You have at least 3 years of work experience from a similar role.
If you have prior experience from a profession within service or installation, it’s meriting.
You have excellent computer skills, strongly meriting if you have previous experience in SAP and Office 360.
You are a business oriented, structured person with a problem-solving attitude. Further, you are service-minded, driven by teamwork spirit striving for excellence.
Since you will work in a global environment, fluency in both Swedish and English is a must. And you need good language skills when it comes to do both formal and selling information text, power points et c.

Hands-on skills in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) and comfort with containerization and cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, and working with Git-based version control.
A solid grasp of CM and change management practices, including branch and release strategies, with exposure to tooling such as Ansible or Terraform.

Do you want to shape the future of secure industrial products? At ABB, cybersecurity is at the core of our product development, and we are now looking for an experienced R&D Principal Engineer who wants to take a leading role in ensuring that our solutions meet both today’s and tomorrow’s security requirements.
In this role, you will be a key contributor working closely with our development teams and global cybersecurity organization to integrate security throughout the entire development lifecycle – from architecture and design to implementation and compliance. You will act as the bridge between external requirements, standards, and technical solutions.
Your main responsibilities
Act as an advisor to development teams in cybersecurity, ensuring that security requirements are understood, prioritized, and implemented in product development
Design and establish security architecture and security controls for new and existing products
Lead and conduct security assessments such as threat modeling, including mitigation implementation and verification, attack surface analysis, and criticality assessments

Good knowledge of relevant standards, especially IEC 62443 (knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or the Cyber Resilience Act is considered a merit)
Programming skills in languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Rust, or similar
Experience working closely with development teams and translating complex security requirements into practical solutions
Excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifications for the role
M.Sc. or B.Sc degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems or comparable field
At least 5 years of experience in development of electronics within embedded systems as a hardware design engineer in an industrial context
Sound knowledge in designing electronic circuits, circuit diagrams, and working with simulation tools
Experience in testing and validation of prototypes in a laboratory. Proven experience in working with voltage levels up to ~1kV would be considered a plus
Knowledge in EMC compatible design would be considered a plus
Willingness to travel internationally (<5%)

I den här rollen kommer du att jobba med säljorganisationen och våra kunder där du ansvarar för att fastställa de mest tekniskt lämpliga och kostnadseffektiva lösningarna för modernisering och underhåll av reläskyddsprodukter och -system. Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a customer-focused and collaborative Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to local service units, external customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism in every interaction.

Handle warranty cases for factory products, including technical investigations and root cause analysis
Manage and follow up on support cases in a shared case management system
Ensure cases and projects are handled in a structured, professional, and high-quality manner

Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team

Qualifications
A couple of years of experience in a similar role
Experience from a technical field, preferably within electrical machines
Strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset
Ability to identify and implement better ways of working to improve customer service and efficiency
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to delivering high service levels
Good communication skills in both Swedish and English
Experience with SAP is considered an advantage

Join our team as the Technical Product Specialist for Motor Starting & Protection Products & Applications at ABB, where you will be the go?to expert for intricate technical issues related to our motor starting, control, and protection portfolio.
You’ll be a key contributor in the Control Agile unit, with one of our agile teams. This unit drives innovation in load management, motor starting, protection devices, and industrial control solutions. As a core member of our agile team, you will help shape cutting?edge solutions that support safe, reliable, and energy?efficient motor operation across industries.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Serve as the primary reference for complex technical issues concerning ABB motor and other load starting, control, and protection products—especially manual motor starters, (mini) contactors, and overload relays. Assess and analyze technical issue cases, design and execute test scenarios, and run simulations to understand and resolve challenges effectively.
Content Development & Knowledge Sharing: Create and develop technical materials such as white papers, application notes, and training resources to enhance understanding of motor starting and protection solutions. Ensure all materials remain accessible and up to date in relevant portals and tools.
Presentations & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver engaging technical presentations and demonstrations for internal teams and customers, addressing complex product and application topics with clarity and expertise.
Data Management & Accessibility: Ensure all relevant materials, documentation, and data related to motor starting and protection products are readily available in the appropriate portals and tools, enabling easy access and reference.

Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
Strong knowledge of electrical components used in motor starting, control, and protection (manual motor starters, contactors, overload relays, soft starters, relays).
Hands?on experience with common motor control applications and protection principles (over 3 years of experience is desired) .
Solid understanding of motor?related concepts such as selectivity, coordination, and relevant industrial standards (IEC 60947?1, 60947?2, IEC 60947?4?1 & 5?1, IEC 60077, EN 50155).
Proven ability to develop and deliver technical presentations to diverse audiences.
Experience providing technical support to customers, partners, or internal stakeholders.
Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
Experience working in agile environments is an advantage.

Your role and responsibilities
Join us at ABB’s Process Control Platform (PCP), a global technology hub within ABB’s Automation business. We develop world?leading automation products — both hardware and software — used for monitoring, process control and optimization across a wide range of industries.
As digitalization accelerates, our solutions play a key role in connecting manufacturing data with enterprise systems and making information available in real time. Here, your work will directly contribute to smarter, safer and more efficient industrial operations worldwide.
As a Software Engineer with a focus on test and automation, you will be part of a collaborative R&D team working with several core products within ABB Ability System 800xA — including 800xA Base, Multisystem Integration and System Installer.
Your work will include:
Driving your own development activities while collaborating closely with colleagues across the team and organization.
Developing and improving test?related applications such as test clients and test servers for OPC UA.
Playing a key role in increasing our coverage of unit tests, developer tests and automated tests.
Contributing to new product functionality as well as maintaining and improving existing features.
Supporting documentation, investigations and Level 4 support when needed.

This is a role where you will have real influence on how we build quality into our products — and where your ideas and curiosity are highly valued.
Qualifications for the role
You have a relevant academic education. Either you are newly graduated, or you have a few years of work experience as a software engineer.
You manage programming languages such as C++, CLI, .NET/C#.
Preferably you have some experience from working with OPC UA. Experience from working with WPF and/or COM is also meriting.
If you have worked with System 800xA before it´s a merit and valuable.
You are used to an agile/SCRUM based way of working, preferably inspired by SAFe.
You are used to work in teams and have a good social competency and ability to work together.
You will be working in an international organization and therefor it´s needed to speak and write English fluently. Spoken and written Swedish is necessary as well.
